ABOUT:
“A portable-city exposing a working-city out in the open…such is life in the caravan-city.” The works in progress of selected designers, artists, and artisans will be showcased in a portable pop-up structure. The pop-up will allow for a variety of flexible and changing programming that is integral to the design process, including but not limited to: working, pin-ups, critique, collaboration, user-testing, showcasing, selling, and mingling. Designers will be temporarily relocated from their co-working spaces to the IDEAS CITY Festival, and the works-in-progress design will be unraveled on May 30. Pop-up Design Caravan is a collaboration by miLES, Architecture Commons, and curated participants.
